Details

The Osborn Wave Ring buff are multifaceted tools that can be used in a wide range of applications. Material options consist of cloth, sisal/cloth and non-woven fabrics. Osborn buffing wheels are developed with special shape corrugations for giving heat resistance and ventilation to the buff, which allows air circulation to prevent the workpiece from heating. Corrugation adds flexibility to the buffing wheel and makes it capable to furnish best surface finish with quick polishing action, high compound retention and increased the production rate. It is mainly used on automatic machines, mostly in stainless steel cookware industry. And it can be supplied with metal flanges or cardboard centre.

    Airway  Buffs: The standard buff is constructed on a narrow lacing (clinch ring) approximately 1/2” wide.  Depending on the Nonwoven abrasive material used, buffs are available in 2, 4 and even 6 ply.   WR (Wave Rings)  Buffs: The Wave Ring buff construction is a unique product that fills a “niche” between nonwoven abrasive airway buffs and  nonwoven abrasive flap brushes.  All wave ring buffs are made on a wide (approx. 7/8”) lacing.
